Comic Con is a beautiful thing, especially for TV shows. The cast of The Walking Dead gathered for their panel a few nights ago, and unveiled the much anticipated trailer for the hit horror show. Now that the trailer is out and we know what is to come, October feels further away than ever....

Parodies are only as a good as the intellect behind them. Sometimes, a great spoof is lauded as an impressive piece of comedy; wittily and a lot of the times, it is just a collection of toilet humour and sex jokes. With great movie spoofs such as Airplane! still tickling our ribcages, sometimes great spoofs can be television shows too! None have caught our laughter and furore more so than A Touch of Cloth.

Ah, Star Wars. Only two words and yet upon hearing them, so many thoughts and memories spring to mind. Quite simply one of the best film franchises of all time, it’s always found ways to entertain fans when there weren’t any films coming out. We’ve had video games, short films, merchandising and TV shows. With another film on the way, there comes another TV show too, heading to Disney Channel: Rebels.

Warning: Spoilers for Seasons One to Three

Homeland is a show that nobody could’ve predicted the success of. It became a smash hit when it started, and rightfully so. But the show has gone very downhill, following a third season that left a bad taste in many fans’ mouths. However, despite all its flaws, Season Three had a perfect ending, an ending that perhaps could’ve ended the entire show had Season Four not already been commissioned. The whole show relied on both Carrie and Brody, and with Brody now dead, carrying on just seems a little pointless. But, hope may not be lost just yet as the first teaser for Season Four has been released, and it doesn’t look too bad.

Has your life been left empty due to the lack of The Walking Dead on our screens? Well fear not my friends, for Season Five starts in October, and that’s only four short months away! Season Four was far and away one of the best seasons so far, with some stellar episodes and performances. The season finale saw the majority of our heroes trapped in Terminus, a place they were led to believe would be a haven for survivors, but instead, a possible home of cannibals. The only characters not to be captured yet are Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith, who are the stars of this first clip released for Season Five.

Wrong!

The first full-length trailer for Arrow spin-off, The Flash, has emerged from the vaults of the CW and brings a lot of things to our attention. The world of this new show, which stars Grant Gustin as the titular hero, draws on ideas from several different superhero continuities (the new costume is a couple of horns away from being Dare Devil’s, for instance). The action takes place within the fictional setting of Central City, and Barry Allen (Gustin) is struck by a special form of lightning during his search for the evil super-powered entity which killed his mother several years prior.
