So, are you a binger or have you been pacing yourself? Have you been healthily snacking on Orange is the New Black or are you woozy from 13 course banquet of prison, lesbians and wholesome writing?

I’m guessing that most people have been sat there, frothing at the mouth and overcome by the awesomeness that is Orange is the New Black. Season Three has come with a lot of promise after two stellar seasons before it, so it’s natural that there was a lot of pressure. After an emotional pilot episode, exploring motherhood whilst stuck in prison, and the new emotions that come boiling over with visits from loved ones that are so fleeting.

So let’s have a look at those epic storylines in a show so totally unforgettable.

How do you end a television series?  Do you, with risk of cancellation and bad figures, perch storylines and characters at the edge of a cliff? Let the audience wait a year, salivating over the threads unwoven? Or do you give them resolution? Allow the next season to be open with no set storyline? Well, Orange is the New Black has found an answer - both.

Sense8 "Limbic Resonance" Review (Spoilers!)

Netflix’s latest original series, Sense8, definitely has the sci-fi heritage. Co-created by the Wachowski siblings (The Matrix) and J Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5), and starring actors like Doctor Who’s Freema Agyeman and Lost’s Naveen Andrews,  the series aims to explore the subjects most science-fiction shows tend to skim over, like gender, sexuality and religion. Based on the first episode, does it succeed?

House of Cards "Chapter 38" Review (Spoilers!)

Frank Underwood is spiralling out of control.

The President and his wife, are being attacked from all sides and even their façade of a marriage seems to be a breaking point. In this penultimate episode of Season Three, it becomes apparent how much Frank needs Claire. Compared to last week where we were shown exactly how much Claire needs him, this time it's a role reversal. Frank is the face of his campaign, yet Claire is the all-important voice giving the people of America hope. Hope that Claire, it seems, will no longer provide for her husband’s benefit.

House of Cards "Chapter 37" Review (Spoilers!)

“A vote for Frank Underwood, is a vote for America Works”

With the 2015 elections looming heavily over us as each and every political party trying to prove their worth to the masses, Chapter 37 seems a rather fitting episode for such a time. Without a doubt this is the most nail biting, enticing and revealing episode of season three so far. From the get go this episode resonates spitefulness and viciousness as it is made painfully obviously how vindictive this man and woman are when put up against each other.

There are no words to truly describe how awesome Daredevil is, the fluidity of the story, as well as the relatively small amount of screen time dedicated to the titular hero both help to keep the action sequences exciting without overpowering the main thrust of the story and characters. It is a wonderful piece of storytelling.

By the time you read this, it will be fairly safe to say that 300% of you will have been to see Avengers: Age of Ultron. At the time of writing, such an event is still two weeks away, so you’ll have to forgive me if I inadvertently, ignorantly discuss things which may tie in with the most anticipated cinematic event of the year so far. I’m not rewriting this because of some post-credits shoutout.

Daredevil continues its phenomenal start from Episode One with another, equally strong second. Cut Man takes a slightly different tack compared to the previous episode, but that makes it feel even stronger.

Let’s get the elephant in the room out of the way first.

Yes, this version of Daredevil is better than the complete and utter travesty that is the 2003 film of the same name and main character. It would have to try incredibly hard to come anywhere near the near suicidal plunge that almost wiped out the superhero genre before it began in earnest.

Better Call Saul "Rico" Review (Spoilers!)

Better Call Saul has really been up and down for its first season. At times it’s been great, with excellent performances and good humour, and other times, it’s been terribly slow and quite boring. Every week, whether it was good or bad, the episode ends and it begs the question “What will next week be like?” because so far it’s been hard to guess any kind of consistency. Well, it feels like the last two episodes of the show might be pretty damn good, if this week is anything to go by.
