Another night came to an end on Sunday night as the glittering Emmy’s took precedence, sparking off a glorious celebration of all things popular on the television. Many mouths have uttered that this is the golden age of television, and quite rightly so, when you see the nominations from 2014’s Emmy awards you will brim with delight that you wasted so many hours dedicated to this shows. From the likes of Sherlock, Breaking Bad and Orange Is The New Black, the tension between the networks and hosting sites like Netflix and the glamourous stars all make this one of the best award ceremonies of the year.

So let’s see who scooped up a gong at the Emmys 2014.

ABC’s Once Upon a Time has finally received recognition for the class and intricate details supporting the fairytale rewrites through its nomination for the ‘Outstanding Costumes for a Series – 2014’ category. It’s that time of year again, when the nominations for the Primetime Emmys are announced. And this year, Game of Thrones is the most nominated series with a total of 19 nominations to its name, while new film-to-TV adaptation Fargo is nominated 18 times.
