Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight, never running from a real fight, she is the one named Sailor Moon! That’s right! Our favourite cowardly warrior, Sailor Moon is making a return with her friends, Sailors Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, and will shortly be coming to a TV near you! Previously expected to be released in Summer 2013, it has been pushed forward to Winter 2013, with a universal date (currently unknown).

By Leah Stone So, I have been given the momentous task of reviewing the Doctor Who 50th anniversary. It was the most anticipated TV episode of the year. Something that has been 50 years in the making. An episode that broke a Guinness world record. An episode that brought millions of fans, old and young, together to celebrate the 50th birthday of Doctor Who, the greatest Sci-Fi show that has ever been created (in my opinion anyway.) By Gemma Williams The Originals returns from a week’s break on top form with the usual betrayal, family drama and death. Tyler seems to be out of commission already and has Klaus really been showing his humanity all this time without us realising? Read on to find out… By Robbie Jones Hello folks! I’m back again with the latest Homeland review. But for once, I bring good news! I say each week that show is returning to former glory but never quite reaches it. Well this week my friends, satisfaction was found. Let’s get on with it! By Gemma Williams When a TV show kills off a character, it is always someone you don’t particularly care about. Remember when The Simpsons made a big deal about a character dying and it was Maud? Who cared? We moved on pretty quickly. I don’t think that will be the case this time. Family Guy have killed a major character, a character who, for me, made the show worth watching. I guess all good things must come to end. By Leah Stone This week’s episode was for all you Thor fans out there, as there are quite a few references to the God of Thunder and actually starts with the team cleaning up after Thor: The Dark World. By Gemma Williams I’m very happy to say that this episode was not as dark as last weeks’, though that’s not to say that terrible things didn’t happen this time. They did. Unfortunately, there is a week break after this episode and as usual, they left it on a horrific cliff-hanger so I have no doubt that everyone will be returning to see how one of our favourite characters gets out of this sticky situation. By Cookie 'n' Screen The first series of Young Doctor’s Notebook came with a fizz and a bang. It was wholly satisfying and enjoyable, boasting a stellar cast and an impressive story. It bordered on bleak and hilarious, a perfect balance of the darkness and comedy. The first season was quite genius. So there was much anticipation surrounding the second series, much anticipation, especially with the fizz and the bang. Unfortunately, the greatness of Young Doctor’s Notebook has fizzled out, and there was no bang, more of a pop. And a faint one at that. By Robbie Jones Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, and whilst we all sit here in excitement, eager to see how events unfold, the BBC treated us to a TV special called An Adventure in Space and Time. After all, all brilliant things have to start somewhere. What younger fans of the show may not realise that The Doctor wasn’t always as jumpy, vibrant and young as Matt Smith, but was actually a grumpy old man. By Julia Lawson Where do we begin this week? I’ll start. I’m sitting, post-tantrum, because I couldn’t go and fetch Henry on behalf of the world. Failing at OUAT-hero-life is quite draining but I’m putting on a brave face – I suppose Emma and the saviour family might save the day this week. Maybe. Anyway, what about you? Tissue box within reach? Tea? Obligatory biscuit (gluten free if required)? Then let’s begin… |
