Based around Stephen (Robbie Amell,) a teenager who a year prior to the show's setting began hearing voices and randomly teleporting in his sleep. Stephen finally decides to listen to the voices and meets the Tomorrow People, John (Luke Mitchell,) Cara (Peyton List,) and Russell (Aaron Yoo.) By Robbie Jones You know what? I’m too depressed to even come up with a witty introduction. In less than a week, this is all over. What possible reason do I have to be happy? Still, this week’s episode was fantastic as usual, so I guess that’s something to smile about. By Cookie 'N' Screen There seems to be a new obsession sweeping the television nation; backstory. And not just any backstory either; backstory of a serial killer set in modern settings. After all, the Hannibal television series by Bryan Fuller have somewhat delighted fans and brought new ones to the Lecter fandom. Hannibal has a perfect balance between character development, tantalising and beautiful horror and some strong acting. With the success of Hannibal and plans for an American Psycho and Man On Fire television shows, movie based television shows are all the range. By Heather Stromski We work the cases S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't classified, We investigate the bizarre. The strange, The unknown. To protect the ordinary from the extraordinary. Welcome to level 7. By Max Bosshart In 1993, Haim Saban and Fox Kids introduced a six person team of “teenagers with attitude” known as the Power Rangers. to the world. It's been twenty years since they stepped out of their infamous costumes, and each member has gone on to create unique and successful careers. They maintain a link to the show that started it all by making appearances at many major and minor conventions. What have they been up to since handing over their morphers? By Robbie Jones God, wasn’t the last episode cruel? Cutting off mid shoot out? That was outrageous! Still, surely that’s the worst of it. I’m sure everything is ok now! NOTHING IS OK. The episode starts with a little throw back to Season 1. In a new scene, Walter and Jesse are out in the desert cooking, when Walter makes a phone call to Skyler explaining why he’ll be late home. During the conversation, Skyler suggests the name Holly for their unborn daughter, and they both agree on it. Walter walks out of shot, leaving us with the RV in the desert. By Julia Lawson A pirate ship in the night cuts through the still waters like a knife; her sails still in the tense night air as a small boat paddles up to the side. Cloaked figures, their faces masked by large hoods, board the ship demanding ‘the boy’ as the pirates cower. The Lost Ones have arrived to claim the young Baelfire (Dylan Schmid), bearing Pan-related threats of ‘shadow removal.’ Riiiiiiiiiiiiiip! Once Upon a Time has taken a chilling turn to the tales of our leading cast members and filling in even more of the blanks to the fairy tale pasts. Think chilling mists, chilling stories and… well, just focus on the word chilling, it puts you in the right place as we sail into Season 3. By Matthew Battles As photos from the filming of the Doctor Who Christmas Special emerge online, fans can finally relax as we're given official confirmation that the hair - the signature Matt Smith hair - will be firmly in place for The Eleventh Doctor's final appearance. By Max Bosshart Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers first premiered on August 28, 1993. The very first episode; Day of the Dumpster introduced children everywhere to the original five rangers, their allies Zordon and Alpha 5, as well as their original main enemy Rita Repulsa. It spawned 18 incarnations of rangers, two feature films, a massive toy line, and a major convention; Power Morphcon. Created by Haim Saban, the Power Rangers series adapts the Super Sentai series, a long running Japanese Tokusatsu TV program. The show blends scenes with English speaking actors with the Japanese shows' action sequences. Saban Brands produced the Power Rangers series until a 2001 buyout by Disney and eventually purchased it back in 2010. By Leah Stone It’s election day 1997, and Ben Ransley - the researcher for the Labour MP Liz Jackson - is dead; murdered under Westminster Bridge. Ben’s jaw is broken, there’s no CCTV images or witnesses of the crime. He leaves the celebrations and never returns... The case is reopened due to the discovery of an offshore account with £40,000, and no one close to Ben knows where it came from. There’s a picture of a blond woman in his wallet but none of Ben’s family or friends recognise the mysterious woman... |
