And that’s it. With a thrilling denouement, featuring enough running around to make you feel exhausted just watching it, Wolfblood has finally come to an end, perhaps forever. The third series finale didn’t just bring the season’s plotlines to a close – what is Segolia up to? Who can be trusted? Just who is going to end up in a relationship? – but also some of the storylines the series has been dealing with from the start.

– but also some of the storylines the series has been dealing with from the start. by Helen Langdon Fresh off picking up a couple of BAFTA Kids nominations (Best Drama and Best Writer for series creator Debbie Moon), Wolfblood is hurtling towards the season three conclusion with a penultimate couple of episodes which manage to thrill, surprise and stun in just about equal measure. In one hour of television, things have changed in Stoneybridge, alliances have been forged and broken, and we've been left with one humdinger of a cliffhanger! by Helen Langdon There’s a distinctly corporate feel to this week’s Wolfblood episodes, what with Segolia moving in all about the place and inserting themselves into the pack’s lives, whether that’s trying to woo Shannon with a job (and a science montage!), saving Wolfbloods from a comet curse, or just Mr Jeffries’ ongoing crush on uni pal Dr Whitewood (seriously, dude, she’s definitely not interested). by Helen Langdon It’s that time of week again – the double dose of teenage Wolfbloods up in the north east, and continuing on with last week’s theme of Jana asserting her Alpha dominance, this week it was still all about packs, romance and what it means when your role and family is taken away from you. Well, we were promised the return of old allies this season, and Wolfblood has definitely delivered, with old friend Jana, Rhydian’s mum Ceri and other members of the wild Wolfblood pack back in Stoneybridge and looking for Rhydian’s help. And with an old threat resurfacing and old family members reappearing, will the Wolfblood/human pack find time to go to a Manchester United match? by Helen Langdon He won gymnastics competition Tumble on Saturday, and on Monday, BAFTA-winning Bobby Lockwood was back for season three of CBBC’s Wolfblood. And the episode wasted no time in reminding us exactly how much had changed, with previous main character Maddy having to flee the country with her parents. by Helen Langdon When you think of werewolves, what comes to mind? Taylor Lautner et al in Twilight? The American teenagers on Teen Wolf? Lon Chaney in black-and-white film The Wolf Man? How about the teenagers from the north-east of England in CBBC’s Wolfblood? The third season is just around the corner (15th September, put it in your diaries) and that means it’s the perfect time to take a look at what you’re been missing, and what’s in store for Rhydian and the gang. |
