“There's the revolution you know. And the one that's about to begin.” That’s the tagline for Sons of Liberty, the brand-new drama starting on History this week. Based on the historical events leading up to the American Revolution, an all-star cast brings to life the stories of some of American history’s most famous men. While we might think of George Washington as white wig and wooden teeth, Sons of Liberty aims to change that by telling us about a group of young men trying to find purpose in their lives, who end up changing history in their fight for equality.
