Rick, Carl and Michonne are down, and now it’s time to catch up with the rest of the group, as each section of it get twenty minutes to show us what’s happened since leaving the prison. By Hayley Charlesworth Although there was supernatural business going on, Riddled didn't feel like a Teen Wolf episode, but a dark and excellent extended metaphor for mental illness. Anchored by show-best performances by Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Posey and Holland Roden, Riddled is Teen Wolf's finest hour to date, and one can't help but wonder how they can possibly top it. by Cookie N Screen Game of Thrones is a phenomenon. Based on the book series of the same name by George R.R Martin, this now global hit television series. Filled with epic amounts of blood bath, strong characters both female and not and taking human interest stories, setting them slap bang in a medieval world. With series one and two largely well received and an ever expanding film base, season three comes storming to DVD and Blu-Ray but what can you expect from this outstanding HBO show? By Helen Langdon We’re now two episodes into Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton’s new anthology series, Inside No. 9. Any viewers who turn in expecting another League of Gentlemen, with surrealist sketches, or even the bizarre plot of Psychoville, are going to be disappointed. Inside No. 9 owes a lot more to Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected, short, self-contained vignettes with a sting in the tail. The central concept is that each episode takes place inside one location, the titular No. 9, but beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess as to where the plot will go. By Helen Langdon One of the most evocative parts of a cartoon is its intro. Often, that’s what lives on in the memory long after the details of the actual plot have vanished in the haze of growing up. Maybe that’s because cheesy lyrics and catchy melodies are perfectly fine for cartoons, and it’s fine for cartoons to sum up their entire premise in a 30-second segment. Cartoons don’t have to pretend that being serious means being dour. Here are five top, and underrated, cartoon intros. By Graham Osborne Valentines Day is supposed to be one of those times of year where you’re guaranteed some sort of intimate bedroom dance ritual with your significant other/one night stand/random hobo in the alley behind the bar you were trying to find initial said one night stand. But that’s enough about my last Valentines Day. There are more pressing problems at hand. If YOU, dear reader, are having troubles making your geeky partner moan in ecstasy, if your sabre just won’t light, or you’re experiencing a spell that’s drier than Tatooine’s drought season. Then step right this way, and we will show you some of the best sex positions for Geeks! For the sake of some people's delicate disposition, and to protect the innocent, we have chosen to censor all images. The original images were very raunchy though. Oh yes... By Cookie 'n' Screen There is nothing more annoying in this world than dating shows. This has nothing to do with being single, nor does it have anything to do with being less desirable but this corner of detestable television is particularly grating. And what’s worse is that they have been going on for a long time, parading a bunch of singletons on television because they couldn’t find a way to meet a lover without the glaring lens and studio lights staring down at them. by Cookie N Screen It’s a nice day for a red wedding, is it not? And if you were one of the few absolutely shell-shocked, broken and amazed by Game of Thrones series three finale “The Red Wedding,” you’ll be wondering with so many questions. How did they do it? Why was it so soul destroying and a blood massacre? And more importantly, where is the cake? Luckily, thanks to HBO Entertainment and ChoccyWoccyDooDah, guests at Tuesdays DVD release event at The Soho Hotel got a chance encounter with the Red Wedding Cake and boy, murder and bloodshed has never tasted so good. By Robbie Jones The writers of the The Following are completely oblivious to just how uninteresting the character of Agent Mendes is. Turns out she’s not a clone of Parker, not anymore. She’s just annoying. What should’ve been an interesting twist has just become another ordinary scene, due to the fact that it couldn’t have happened to a less interesting character. |
