It's hard to imagine all our favourite comedy stars as teenage camp counsellors but back in 2001, they all gathered to deliver a raucous, hysterical cult spoof and did it so well that it accumulated a large fanbase. Excitingly, Wet Hot American Summer returns to our screens with a prequel series looking at the first day of camp. Which means that all your favourite comedy stars return as teenage camp counsellors only this time they are 14 years older and somehow are supposed to be younger.

With a brand new poster and a fantastic trailer, what can Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp promise us? A stoic cop from Law and Order: SVU as the chipper chef who’ll gradually turn insane. The blossoming of romance between Ben and McKinley. An overzealous Susie trying to gather talented people in a, undoubtedly surreal, talent show. Oh and lots of drugs, sex and caricatures of meaningful summer teen flicks.
Plus all your favourite stars will be in super cheesy bad wigs. It's just, well, you really have to watch the teaser because it looks all kinds of wacky and amazing. There is no reason on Earth why you shouldn't want to watch a show where Jon Hamm (oh yeah, he's here too) fights Meloni in a kitchen or Rudd crash a motorcycle or Cooper in a leotard. If you don't want to see that, then you'll have a very dull summer indeed.
Check out this teaser, what do you think? What?
What?
Nothing.
