Well, this was brutal. The Originals is definitely darker and more mature than its parents show. Not one major character was left untouched by some form of misery and it looks like death in on the horizon. Everyone is currently in a dangerous situation and it’s unbelievable.
Well, this was brutal. The Originals is definitely darker and more mature than its parents show. Not one major character was left untouched by some form of misery and it looks like death in on the horizon. Everyone is currently in a dangerous situation and it’s unbelievable.
This show is blessed with a cast full of talented actors and a strong, unpredictable storyline. There is not one weak link in the ensemble. It is not often anymore that a show can cause surprise by being unpredictable but this manages it every week.
The witches are rising up against the vampires and they currently seem to be unstoppable. Elijah is his usual perceptive self and starts putting the pieces of the puzzle together, but this puts him and those he loves in a precarious position.
It appears as though a member of the cast may be bowing out but it has been hinted that Davina may be making a comeback!

There is a war brewing, and all of the factions are turning against each other. This is really shaping up to be a great first season but can they keep it up? Unfortunately, with the Originals’ lives currently being in danger, it is a massive spoiler that at least Klaus can’t die as it is well known that if an Original dies, so does their entire bloodline. If Klaus were to die, so would practically all of the major characters on The Vampire Diaries, bringing the series to an abrupt halt in the middle of a season. Rebekah however, could be in genuine danger but it seems unlikely. This has ruined the suspense of the cliffhanger slightly but doesn’t take away the genius that is the show.
