It’s safe to say the atmosphere was full of excitement and lust as the cast of BBC’s The Musketeers took to their seats at the Regents Street Apple Store on Wednesday 21st January. As the second season of this swash buckling period drama is well underway, we were lucky enough to here the main casts thoughts and feelings on how the show is going so far.

It was also interesting to hear about the shooting process. From getting the script locked down to getting that episode completed. The cast agreed that it took around five weeks straight filming to shoot just two, 55 minute episodes, only to see the final products and notice how heavily cut each of their scenes had become. However, they all seemed to be very grateful for being a part of the show and it was nice to see them all joking and happy to answer any questions asked, even if they were a bit run-of-the-mill.
Of course, the cast couldn’t give much away plot wise for the upcoming season, albeit they did say there are lots of surprises and plot layers that are sure to go down well with audiences. It’s apparent that there will be a lot more fighting involved and the team were chuckling away whilst remembering their weapons and horseback training for certain scenes. Although, they did mention that they have one of the most experienced stunt teams this side of England and couldn’t think of where they would be without them.
