When we’re not watching the gripping adventures of Carrie, Brody, Saul and Quinn, we’re forced to sit through the menial lives of Brody’s family. Jessica is the struggling wife who we sympathise with, and Dana has had her fair share of drama over the first three seasons. But there was just one character who never got a look in.... and for good reason too.

Chris Brody is a quiet young boy who has trouble in life. He speaks of his woes to his school friends. But they don’t care. He tries to celebrate this achievements with his family. But they don’t care. His Dad turns out to be a terrorist and goes on the run and is eventually hanged in public.

Nobody cares about Chris. Every time he opens his mouth, he’s told to shut up. His family doesn’t know he exists. Well, it’s time for that change. Following from the end of Season Three Everybody Hates Chris focuses on the young Brody boy as he goes on a journey of self discovery, joined by the also overlooked Mike Faber (Remember him?). Together, they battle life's issues, express their feelings of inadequacy to one another, and sing about their woes on their road trip to recognition.

It’s gonna be long. It’s gonna be tiring. It’s gonna be really boring. But it means we can take the piss out of the actor who plays Chris for years to come.

Homeland: Everybody Hates Chris, coming to your TV screens never, and be grateful about it.
