Fargo continues to move from strength to strength. This episode takes a lighter tone to the previous two, with a renewed focus on Lester’s grieving. The shift in tone still manages to keep the high quality of writing and tension flowing throughout the episode.

Officer Grimly has finally inserted himself into the story in a meaningful way. After finally gaining the courage to confess to what happened during his run in with Malvo, he has been sent down to the Bemidji Police Station to tell them the events. His encounter with Molly, and his confirming her suspicions hints at them potentially teaming up? to uncover the whole debacle.

Fargo is still a fantastic roller coaster ride, doling out small parcels of information on each of the characters, whilst holding the remaining cards close to its chest. How the series will end is anyone’s guess.
