Feature: Can gaming be good for relationships?

I started dating my boyfriend almost four years ago. From the get go he was very honest about his lifestyle and his experience with relationships. He is a messy fellow. He enjoys a good smoke. He over does it when he drinks, and has a deep love for video games. I grew up with two older brothers and a younger one, all avid gamers, so the idea of dating someone who loved video games didn’t seem like it would be too much of a bother. In fact it seemed like it would be more fun than dating a guy who is into sports. I for one do not partake in sports, in fact I’d call myself someone who enjoys the occasional video game every now and then, when time permits.

Fans of George R.R Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire volumes as well as its TV adaptation (HBO's Game of Thrones) may be aware of the upcoming game produced by Telltale Games that is aptly titled Game of Thrones. Telltale have released details concerning their new endeavor with the game taking place after the events at the end of Season Three… Allow me some time to re-experience those feelings I felt at the end of that season and right before the start of Season Five.

It's official guys. Just Cause 3 is coming. Yep, those are church bells ringing all right. Four years since the awesomeness that was Just Cause 2, Square Enix have decided to announce the next title of the series. Long-time fans of the series should have a lot of hope and optimism for the game (that is of course if it sticks to the roots of the first two).

N7 Day - Time to Get Excited About Mass Effect Again

During Nintendo’s Direct on the 5th of November the giant of the gaming world gave plenty of information about upcoming titles and amiibo functionality but one announcement stole the show. Successor to the classic Ocarina of Time, the highly anticipated remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will finally be gracing both the Nintendo 2DS & 3DS in spring of 2015.

GTA V Goes Next Gen... And it's Beautiful

Grand Theft Auto has a long history of taking the world by storm, and while some titles have been more successful than others it is hard to deny that the franchise has a consistently large fan following. GTA V has been no exception. In fact it can be argued that the only GTA title to top it would be San Andreas. So with the game jumping on the re-release bandwagon and receiving a port to the XBox One and PS4, it could be that we will see just how popular the series has become as we see just how many fans go out to purchase a second helping. However, if the comparisons are anything to go by, I think it's easy to say that the next gen version will be a hit.

Star Citizen Unveils FPS Module

By this stage of development, fans (myself included) are beginning to await every single update regarding Star Citizen with baited breath. For every single new ship displayed or new feature announced we get just that little bit more ravenous for the universe that awaits us. So imagine our outright frenzy when Cloud Imperium Games finally got a chance to show off their First Person Shooter module in its full glory at this weekend's PAX, in Australia.
