On Friday the 12th of September, under very specific circumstances, a small portion of Nintendo Club members received a number of download codes for the Super Smash Bros 3DS demo a week before public release. Though I was not personally one of those to receive codes, I was lucky enough to have 'Links' with people who were. By Luke Kirby The folks at Nintendo have been rather busy recently so I thought it would be nice to accumulate all this information into one place so you lovely people don’t have to go anywhere else. To start off we were told recently about a new Pokémon project in the works and we were given Pokken, a cross between Pokémon and Tekken (naturally), however this seems to only be available in Japanese arcades next year. I must admit I felt foolish for getting my hopes up for a home console Pokémon game, oh well I can still dream. By Ginny Ratcliffe Before delving into an incoherent attempt at explaining ‘THE DEFINITION OF ART’ we must first establish what kind of art it is that is being discussed. All games are art. By the IWG Games Team So the excitement of E3 is over for another year, and we took the opportunity to ask some of our writers what they thought of the recent conferences and if there was a clear winner this year. By Luke Kirby It’s somewhat of a harsh truth but the catalogue of games on the Wii U has been rather lacking, specifically with the popular/iconic franchises, since the release of the console in November 2012. So I gleefully look forward to the release of Mario Kart 8 released on the 30th of May because quite frankly my Wii U is gathering thicker layers of dust as the days go on. |
