Wow, Holy new game trailer, Batman!
You'll have to forgive the robin-esque Batman pun, but with the release of a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight, a few bad puns have to be expected.
Following on from Arkham City, Arkham Knight sees Bats pitted against a plethora of villains, all of whom seem led by the Scarecrow. Harley Quinn, The Riddler, Penguin, Two Face, Poison Ivy - they're all here, most seeming to team up under one banner to try and rid Gotham of Batman once and for all.
As Scarecrow starts to address Batman by big menacing TV-monologue, we get to see just how much bigger. The open world is vast, it is expansive - it's darker and bleaker and meaner, with gangs and thugs patrolling the streets, so it's a good thing that Batman has got the Batmobile handy. And boy it seems like it will definitely come in handy.
The odds are definitely stacked against him... so will Arkham Knight spell the downfall of Batman? Of course not, he's freaking Batman!
Batman: Arkham Knight releases worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC, on June the 2nd.
"I am vengeance. I am the night!"
