It's been a hell of a couple of weeks, not only for gaming, as we exit out of the summer industry black-black out, but also in show business.
While we are suddenly being overloaded with new information regarding up and coming titles for the winter months, we are saddened by the loss of beloved Hollywood stars.

It’s often that rumours fly around with regards to gaming and for the most part they are taken with a generous pinch of salt. Yet some are more credible than others and this rumour may just be an example of such.
According to a reasonably reliable source, (the same source that told the existence of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby as well as Devil’s Third), Nintendo is working on a remastered title for 2015 and that the Japanese giant will have one game per month released for the Wii U. According to other sources the remastered title is also for the home console, so to me it seems Super Mario Sunshine is likely to grace Wii U’s. While I would happily revisit Sunshine in what I imagine to be glorious HD with colourful and vivid environments my heart is still set on a Majora’s Mask remake that Nintendo seems to tease us with all too often… If MM is the remastered game for the Wii U I would cry with joy.

While this is certainly a positive rumour, maybe it’s just me, but one game per month released for the Wii U doesn’t seem like such a great announcement, especially for a console that has been struggling since release. Maybe I’m just being sceptical but I guess fans of Nintendo will have to wait until 2015 to see whether the Wii U picks up in this generation of consoles.
Meanwhile, elsewhere on the internet there is a growing fan petition, calling for Robin William's name to be added to their next Legend of Zelda title.
In life, Williams had been an avid gamer and famously named his daughter after Nintendo's own Hyrule princess. However, after a recent announcement that WoW fans were likewise petitioning for Mr. William's likeness to be included in the MMO, the Nintendo fanbase was not to be out done.
At present, the Zelda petition stands at over a hundred and ten-thousand signs, which is a fairly impressive figure by anyone's reckoning. While the efforts of the WoW fans have already ensured their goal, Nintendo has yet to respond solidly on the matter. However, a spokesman for the company has stated that they appreciate the obvious outpouring of support for the late comedian and his family, but declined to comment on the fan petition's goal.
It is nice to think that we will eventually get to play a new Zelda title and get to see the the name of such a beloved comedy genius immortalized in a way that he would approve of. The man himself, worked with Nintendo for a number of their television adverts and did so largely from his love for the art. I, personally will look forward to that eventual nice surprise when I can come across his memorial in-game.
