Transistor is free this month for PS Plus subscribers on PS4 and if you haven't already, I thoroughly recommend downloading it and giving it a try.
I'll say this right off the bat, the slightly strange "turn based" combat system won't be for everyone (I say strange because it isn't turn based in say, the Paper Mario-esque sense) and it does have a short playtime (you'll be done with your first playthrough in just a few hours, but hey it's free!). However, if you can stick with it as I did, the combat, along with the game's gorgeous design and intriguing story, will grow on you and you might just end up loving it.
The game revolves around you trying to regain Red's voice and restore the man's body - their relationship is the key to this game. Along the way, you also discover who is behind "The Process" and you have to survive numerous battles against various types of enemies that increase in skill and difficulty as the game progresses. Like I stated earlier, the game's combat system takes a little getting used to, but it makes sense within the parameters of the game.
If you haven't already, please download it because it's a lovely little gem of a game and hopefully the design and story will make you fall in love with it like I did.
Get it while it's free.
