Over the last couple of days, I've been watching the Gamescom League of Legends World finals qualifiers for the EU Region. Some really cool things happened, and I thought I'd share them with you.
Lemondogs, a team who dominated the EU LCS for most of it's second split with their new support player "miffy" did not live up to expectations in the tournament. Although they secured a spot in the world finals, they did not ultimately win the split, getting whitewashed 3-0 against Fnatic at the final hurdle.
EverQuest Next - With World of Warcraft being a huge influence on my early life, MMO's have always been special to me, and I missed the EverQuest phase, so I'm thoroughly looking forward to it. You can check out more information at www.everquestnext.com
PS4 release date - In the US, it's been confirmed for November 15th in North America, and November 29th in Europe. I'm sure many fans are excited about this news. Sony also announced that thePS4 will cost £349, nearly £100 cheaper than the Xbox One!
Xbox One, no release date? - Microsoft has chosen not to announce a release date yet, only that it will cost you £429 in the UK. Although some people are looking to swap over in the new generation, I'm excited for the exclusives that will be coming to the Xbox in the new future.
A new Need For Speed game! - You heard it everybody, Need For Speed has a new game! It's called Need For Speed Rivals, and has initially been developed for the PC.
Which of these are you most excited about, and what do you think of the League of Legends tournament results? Tell us in the comments below!
