With wonderful base material to go off of, it seems pretty certain that the film will be a success, and the trailer is sure to mention the best-selling novel it is based from. The extended trailer for The Fault in Our Stars offers a more comprehensive look at the story, which is great if you want to see any extra features and are maybe looking for a better understanding of the tale. Woodley displays her acting talents in the trailer, and Elgort seems to be in his element as Augustus. True Blood star, Sam Trammel and Laura Dern also feature as Hazel’s parents, and their funny remarks and a more light-hearted element to the trailer. With a pretty hard-hitting story, the trailer does a nice job to balance out the darker moments of the story with the more humorous, and it doesn’t seem too drawn-out or unnecessary.
So, whether you’ve been anticipating the arrival of The Fault in Our Stars film for a while now, or you are just becoming aware of it, it’s no doubt that it will certainly make an impact when the film (distributed by 20th Century Fox) finally arrives in June.
