“It’s finally here guys!”
The second thrilling chapter of epic film How To Train Your Dragon 2. Created and produced by Dream Work Animation’s, this film re – introduce us to an older Hiccup and his flying friend Toothless. This is the sequel to the beloved 2010 animated first movie How To Train Your Dragon.
The trailer is a two minutes and twenty-eight seconds montage, a flying sequence with both Hiccup and Toothless travelling through the clouds with some new contraptions. The film brings us back to the world of Hiccup and Toothless five years later, exploring new territories while Hiccup and friends enjoy dragon races. In between Hiccup and Toothless’ journey, they discover a secret ice cave, hundreds of new wild dragons, and a mysterious Dragon Rider.
This new trailer features the adorable relationship between Hiccup and Toothless friendship, daring heroics, flight scenes that would look pretty incredible in 3D, and a big revelation regarding the history of the Dragon Rider. This tease gives us the glimpse into the new ice cave, the island of Berk, the older Hiccup and the relationship he has established with Toothless, Astrid and the rest of the gang. Although the trailer is short and relatively captivating, the visual itself looks great as the trailer gives us the anticipation of wanting to see more.
Script writer and director DeBlois stated that: “the sequel will expand the current world of How To Train Your Dragon and will not be restricted to the island of Berk.” He claimed that the second film could potentially lead onto a third film or further. Bonnie Arnold, who is returning to produce the film stated: “The new adventure will show Hiccup on his journey of becoming a man and the leader of the Viking clan.” .
The film also features the voices of Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Kit Harington, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz, Plasse, T. J. Miller, Djimon Honusou, and Kristen Wiig.
