A new scene has arrived on the internet from legendary director Luc Besson’s summer action/ sci-fi flick, Lucy.
The movie-hype-machine teases us with a shot that sees a distressed Scarlett Johansson attached to a brief case trying to explain to some sinister looking chaps that she has no-idea what is in said brief case.
We already know from the trailers that the story revolves around main protagonist, Lucy, who accidentally absorbs an unknown substance in a drug trafficking exercise gone wrong. An episode that has, seemingly, delightful consequences for Lucy as she morphs into a super human that is slowly starting to access more and more of her brain capacity.
This scene appears to take place ‘pre-femme fatale’ and focuses on an encounter between Lucy and head gangster, Mr Jang, played by Choi Min-sik (Oldboy). It looks like Mr Jang might have some friendly connections as the initial reaction is that the briefcase is a bomb. Is it a bomb? Well, it’s certainly “nothing dangerous…”
The film is set to hit UK cinemas on the 22nd of August.
