In the new blue banner for the film, we can see the storm through a car wind-shield, as the powerful tornado ravages the town, and a plane struggles in the background. It’s certainly atmospheric and the people in the poster look intriguing enough to warrant a look further. The short but dramatic instagram teaser, that was released prior to the trailer, hypes up the adventure by encouraging you to enjoy the last adventure of the summer – Into The Storm. In the few-seconds of clip, we can see people gripping on for dear life, fires blazing in the darkness, planes struggling to steady themselves in the storm, and trucks crashing into the sides of buildings while people rush about frantically. Sufficed to say, everything is fast-paced, and it looks like one hell of a disaster epic.
Likewise, in the recently released second UK trailer for Into The Storm, we see a graduation ceremony quickly descend into chaos, as the ominous ‘storm’ hits and sends the students fleeing for their lives, whilst their school is literally dismantled around them. Hail the size of golf balls, buildings whose structure is taken away in minutes and helicopters exploding are a few things to look forward to in the trailer, which sees Richard Armitage’s Morris battling the elements head first.
Into The Storm crash lands into cinemas in the USA on the 8th August and hits screens in the UK on 22nd August, whilst worldwide cinemas receive the movie at varying points between 7th August and 26th September.
