It’s just a shame this one looks awful.
Michelle Monaghan plays an army medic on an extended tour of Afghanistan. She comes home a hero, and returns to her son. However, her son, who has been living with her ex-husband and his new girlfriend, does not recognise her, and claims she’s not his mother. As painful as it is, she decides to start again, and rebuilds her relationship with her son and finds new love. But it’s then revealed that she has re-enlisted in the army, and she only has 60 days before she has to leave. The rest of the trailer is a big montage of her and her son, her and her boyfriend, her and her boyfriend having sex and her ex-husband.....doing stuff (he doesn’t seem to be very important in this film.)
They might as well have put the ending in the trailer cause you’d have to be blind not to realise that it can only go two ways: she leaves for the army once again, and after some turmoil, her son accepts it and is proud of her. OR, she realises she needs to be here for her son and stays. Seriously, it will be one of those. Other than that, the film looks horribly cliche’d and downright pretentious. Save your money, guys.
