Shailene Woodley is the epitome of Hazel as she is being fussed over for costume and Ansel Elgort gives the camera his best, charming Gus smile. Excuse us while we swoon. And we're back. The two scenes from the film are included and while I’m sure some fans will complain about the word changes, (yes, we've already seen this happening,) the film is looking very close to the story.
John Green says; ‘I think that it’s going to be a great movie. I think that’s it a very faithful adaptation of my story.’
Well, if it’s good enough for John Green, it should be an absolute cracker of a film! Don’t forget your tissues when you go and there is also a special Preparedness Kit for this which you do not want to go without! This will include a drawstring backpack, a tissue pack (this will be necessary for both the giggles and the heartbreak), a pair of sunglasses designed by Karen Kavett (so you can hide those tears and avoid embarrassment), One pack of candy cigarettes (it’s a metaphor!), a lapel pin, three postcards and three stickers, both designed by Risa Rodil.
I read the book within the last week. I read it overnight and I can confidently say after watching this that this looks to be one of the most faithful adaptations of a book that I have seen. Fans will not be disappointed with this.
