Friday the 25th of April sees guilty pleasures combine. Not only is there one film from talented latino filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, but there is a double bill of the hottest and most entertaining movies. Alongside the likes of Sofia Vergera, Lady Gaga, Michelle Rodriguez, Danny Trejo is a man on a revenge mission thanks to a son of a gun killing his wife, betraying him and threatening to kill his daughter in Machete. The only correct response to this situation is to get as many guns as possible and go hunting. Trejo excels in this comedy action film that honestly doesn’t hold back. One of the world’s most harsher truths is that the excellent and superb sci-fi television series Firefly was cancelled. Not even for any good reason too. Just television studios sucking major ass. Sorry, that was unprofessional. Anyway, starring Nathan Fillion and the highly underrated Alan Tudyk (despite him voicing a majority of your beloved characters) Firefly was an ace creation from geek god Joss Whedon. I think it is safe to say that we love Doctor Who. All forms, all regenerations and every story, we go crazy for the time travelling madman with his blue box. Everyone has a personal preference and my one is Paul McGann, aka the Eighth Doctor.
