D23: The Official Disney Fan Club presents the D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center in August 14th to 16th, 2015.
You don´t know what D23 is yet? D23 is the ultimate Disney fan event. Each of Disney´s worlds unite celebrate and present new, from theme parks, TV shows, music, games and films, including Pixar, The Muppets, Marvel, and, yes, Star Wars.
The one in 2015 will be the fourth D23 so far. Last one, 2013, was a huge success with more than 65.000 Disney fans attending.
Many start were part of the three day show, such as Natalie Portman, Chris Evans, Angelina Jolie, Idina Menzel, Tom Hiddleston and the usual panels, presentations and exhibits.
Due to the close time of this event to the Christmas release of Episode VII (merely four months) a lot of Star Wars stuff is to be expected there, such as new merchandise, trailers, features and maybe some Star Wars appearance too.
So you, Star Wars fan, may start saving money as 2015 will be a year long remebered, with not one, but two major events (or conventions if you will): Star Wars Celebration VII in April 2015 and D23 Expo in August 2015. And don´t forget the San Diego Comic Con!
