This month with see Chris Evans reprise his role as the 'First Avenger' Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, giving Marvel fans a new super-villan to love to hate; The Winter Soldier who is played by Sebastian Stan, seen briefly in 2011's release of Captain America: The First Avenger.
Hype for this film has grown in abundance over the past few months, especially since last years' Superbowl revealing the first sneak peek of the sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger, showing Evans along with Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson, who are also reemrgind as Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) and Nick Fury. This new and first full clip of the film released from Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures leaves nothing to the imagination in terms of how epic it will truly be to watch.
Set two years after the events which unfolded in CA:TFA, we see that Steve Rogers has begun a life away from his superhero alter-ego in order to settle down in Washington D.C. And try to fit in with normal society. It is only when a S.H.I.E.L.D (the law enforcement agency active in the Marvel Universe) compatriot is assailed that Rodgers finds himself once again in his stars-and-stripes costume fighting the bad guys. Double-teaming it up with Black Widow and calling on the help of Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie, who is known as the first African-American superhero, Captain America will fight an old comrade in a mystery that, without our superhero to put right, would endanger the world.
Sure to be packed full of the usual tight costumes, fast-paced action and superhero one-liners, CA:TWS will no doubt satisfy their fanbase as always. Actor Sebastian Stan has reportedly signed on for 'five or six pictures' for Marvel, which includes The Avengers, so there will be no shortage of Captain America any time soon!
