The LEGO Movie is out on DVD and Blu-Ray in TWO WEEKS!
Unfortunately for me, that thought is always quickly accompanied by the reminder that the film came out in February, which sends me into a fugue-like state that can only be remedied by watching “Best of…” clips on the internet.
The featurette is short. Barely 46 seconds in length, it discusses Pratt and his voicing of the main character for the film. The short is a change from the previous “Behind the Bricks” episode, released before the film came out and featuring the actual characters discussing the film and their voice-actors, and also featuring Vitruvius reading the phonebook!
The new behind the scenes featurette was obviously partially filmed prior to “Behind the Bricks” as Emmett claims to have no idea who Pratt is, however at the end it is revealed that Emmet was Pratt’s voice coach and mentor, helping him to understand the world of Emmet and how he would react in certain situations.
All this does lead to one, very important question however…
What does Emmet actually sound like?
