Edge of Tomorrow is the apocalyptic alien invasion film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The film revolves around Army PR Lt Col Bill Cage who has been roped in to make the war against terrifying aliens named "Mimics" look well enough for the public to invest in it. However, when General Bingham decides that Cage needs to be on the front line, filming the soldiers who are fighting the war – Cage refuses and is subsequently arrested as a deserter and forced to fight. When he hits the ground as a soldier, he is promptly killed. But when he wakes up, living the same day as before, he realises that something is not quite right. Hunting down super-soldier Rita Vrataski, he discovers that he is caught in a time loop and that his problem could be the solution to the war.

But is it good? Or is it bad? Cookie and Matthew decide!

For & Against: Frank

Manchester based paper mache tyrant Frank had been louting it up on our television screens for as long as we can remember. And now he has been immortalized on the screen. Out on DVD today, Frank is loosely by Ronson's own memoirs about cult-comedy icon Frank Sidebottom, hence the instantly recognisable paper mache head that Michael Fassbender wears throughout the majority of the film. This probably goes someway to explaining the story - Jon (Gleeson), joins up with Frank's (Fassbender) band after their keyboard player is institutionalised. Jon believes that this will finally allow for his dream of becoming a singer to come true, however he quickly finds that not all is at it seems. Frank's band is, for lack of a better phrase, extremely out there. All members seem to have mental health problems in various degrees and their methods in producing music are alternative.

Do you need an arc built? Ha, well, I Noah guy.

Ok so today marks the DVD release of Darren Aronofsky's Biblical epic that saw Russell Crowe, his family and a band of paired animals attempt to survive the biggest flood known to mankind. Whilst some people adored the film, others called it a wash out.

So here Gloria and Robbie battle it out, who do you agree with?

Voted the number one comedy on numerous polls, beating the likes of Monty Python and Tootsie. For many, Airplane! is THE comedy movies, combining satire, word play and slapstick in an altogether hilarious way. For others, the movie is simply jarring like sitting with someone on a ten hour flight as they recall their depressing life history....

Hocus Pocus celebrates it's 20th Anniversary this year. The Disney hysterical and spooky movie starring Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker, tells the tale of three wicked sisters who brought back to do more terrible deeds.

However, is this still a hilarious childhood romp or is it just as dead now as it was back then? Hayley and Robbie fight it out....

Mystery Men is a superhero movie that came out in 1999. It follows the story of inept superheroes that become the world’s only hope after a super-villain kidnaps the best superhero and holds him hostage. Starring Ben Stiller and Hank Azaria, this comedy came out and was panned. Failing to recoup the budget and slated by all, Mystery Men was said to have squandered the potential it had and still now is met with tuts and scoffs. But is it really a good movie? Does it have a blossoming cult classic?
