Sometimes, you go into the cinema to watch a film expecting to be completely let down. You have watched the trailers and the featurettes, you have read the plot synopsis and you’ve seen the cast line-up, and you just know that it is going to be awful. But sometimes films completely stun you and are so much better than you expected them to be. It is wonderful when that happens.
Unfortunately, The Wedding Ringer is not one of those films.
