Hello everyone! We're back! Sorry we've had a very quiet few months, I'd like to personally apologise to all of our readers and to the writers who were ready and waiting. Hopefully, with the changes we've now put in place, such problems won't happen again.
So, what happened in our absence and what changes have been made? Firstly, some great news - Our SECOND Nerdette! That's right, staff writer Heather Stromski and her Husband, Brian, were blessed with baby Stella Josslyn Stromski! The I'm With Geek baby pool is slowly growing, the geeks are taking over!

So, what happened in our absence and what changes have been made? Firstly, some great news - Our SECOND Nerdette! That's right, staff writer Heather Stromski and her Husband, Brian, were blessed with baby Stella Josslyn Stromski! The I'm With Geek baby pool is slowly growing, the geeks are taking over!
Stella joins her older siblings and Geeks-in-training Ian, Caitlyn and Joshua. Heather shared her own feelings on the great news -
"Stella is my long-wished-for star, and we are just bursting with joy now that she's here. I can't wait to see the trails she blazes in becoming something incredibly out of this world. Also, looks like she's another recruit for the ginger army!"
I hope you'll all join me in wishing Heather, Brian and baby Stella our best wishes for the future!
Moving on to other news, we've appointed a number of section editors to help maintain the smooth running of the website. From now on, the wonderful Cookie 'N' Screen will be running the film section, bringing in new talent and loads other fun stuff for the future.
Finally (for now), Graham Osborne, Matthew Battles and myself have launched the IWGCast! A Podcast dedicated to the world of geeks, where we discuss latest news of the nerd world and play some media themed games. Hopefully you've had a chance to listen to our first IWGCast, if not, feel free to listen here, and look out for IWGCast 2 tonight, on the new IWGCast page.
