Everyone has seen the crash test dummies that car manufacturers use to test the safety features. Strap them in, crash the car, determine the damage. What you might not have guessed is that before these high tech dummies were created, companies used actual corpses to test the safety features… I do not fancy cleaning that mess up.

Is this woman lucky or unlucky? Monique van der Vorst, former Paralympic hand cycler, had been confined to a wheelchair since childhood and was a rising star in the hand cycling field. She was all set to compete at the 2012 Olympics when she was involved in a devastating crash. During her time in hospital, she felt something she hadn’t felt for years, her legs were tingling. Over the coming days and weeks she regained all feeling, and use of her legs, forcing her to abandon her career as a hand cycler, as she was no longer paralysed!

Milk, Dark, White and Pink (Strawberry) flavoured, they work as LEGO bricks, snapping together to form new structures. You can build anything your imagination can create… and then you can eat it!
Let’s get the petition rolling to make LEGO make these!
