Many happy returns to the amazing Captain Reynolds! Whether it be captaining a starship, or solving murders, he does it with a flare and panache that puts others to shame. His hijinks both on and off set make for hilarious anecdotes to be heard in interviews and watched in the outtakes of the DVD extras. Best known for Firefly and Castle, his characters are fun-loving, yet able to defend those he cares about at the drop of a hat. He’s given us a multitude of roles from an evil priest who battles vampire slayers to a lonely starship captain pining over a lost war. You span the 'verse (see what I did there?) with your knowledge, your passion, and the obvious fact that you have so much fun with everything you do. From the evil Caleb in Buffy, to the wonderful, amazing, so-totally-hot Captain Mal Reynolds in Firefly, to the gloriously corrupt Captain Hammer in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, to the voices you lend to the DC Universe, and to Richard Castle (and all the Firefly references) in that amazing cop drama that is nothing like any other cop drama...you have captivated my attention for years. And on top of that, you dedicate your birthday every year to an amazing charitable cause.
