We’ve hit that age where DVDs & Blu-rays are almost obsolete (“Noooo,” I hear from all the avid collectors like myself as I wail writing that sentence). A time way beyond that of terrestrial television and TV licensing. An age where everything is only a few clicks way and easily accessible. And everyone wants a slice of it: Sky, PS4, Virgin Media and more have developed a lovely way of streaming your online goodness right to your television screen. Furiously up on their tail is Amazon Prime, who gloriously release their new FireStick to tomorrow.
Take it from me, it is definitely worth the purchase.
Of course, all of this comes at a price. The stick itself is quite cheap but you have to have signed up for Amazon Prime to get Instant Video to work as well as the other apps such as the aforementioned Netflix which would start to rack up your bill. On top of this, the movies go from free to expensive whilst there are obviously some television series missing as they are owned by other boxes. Other than that, there were no quibble, it is so seamless.
Amazon Fire TV Stick, however, is definitely one of the best things to come on to the market. It is surprisingly easy to use, has a heap of apps ranging of music, films and games and a completely simple to use user face that allows you to flip through it all at a quick pace.
This is a must have for anyone and it’ll be available to buy tomorrow here.
Warning: Buying Amazon Fire TV Stick will hastily diminish your social life.
