Following the horrible example of monogamy set by her parents, Amy grew up to be a commitment phobic career woman. She loves it; she does what she wants, when she wants, with who she wants, no strings attached. But soon she finds herself and her way of life threatened when she meets a genuinely good guy (Bill Hader) and thinks she may like him.
It’s not looking too good so far in terms of reviews – It sits at a 6.0 on IMDb, which could be worse but could be better – and like all of Apatow’s films, it passes the two hour mark (Which can be a hindrance for comedy). Nevertheless, this trailer looks pretty funny. Schumer has proved herself a very talented comedian so we know this film is in good hands, and hopefully it’ll propel her to new heights of popularity that she greatly deserves.
Trainwreck is out 17th July in the USA, but we don’t get in the UK until August 28th
