This is it, the final Mockingjay trailer before the film is released on the 21st of November.
Here we see everyone playing with Katniss’ emotions. Plutach gets Katniss to return to District 12 to see what President Snow and his army have done, in order to persuade her to fight. Since coming from her second time in The Hunger Games, she has struggled to cope, not just with what she experienced but also with losing Peeta, who has become one of the Capitol’s puppets. Peeta sends her a very emotional warning. Teary eyed, he tells her that the soldiers are coming and that they will all be dead by morning. President Snow’s speech “prepare to pay the ultimate price” speech also stirs some emotions, not jsut inside Katniss but also inside us. What is the ultimate price he is speaking of?
We see soldiers, guns, fire, fighting, war raging, so much action. We thought a lot of death and destruction occurred inside the arena, but outside things have gotten so, so much worse.
Finally Katniss sends a message to President Snow: “If we burn, you will burn with us.” She has finally gotten the courage to fight back, to stand up to Snow once and for all and free Panem from his ever-tightening grasp. Mockingjay: Part 1 is quite possibly THE MOST anticipated film of 2014.
