Also starring Dustin Hoffman and Dan Stevens (humunuh humunuh), The Cobbler revolves around a generation of shoe makers who are gradually going out of business. Still sad over the death of his father, the expert discovers a magical hammer that, when it fixes shoes and he puts them on, and transforms into the wearer. Of this escapades, he changes into a gorgeous man (Stevens, humunuh humunuh), a criminal and his father.
The Cobbler is borderline at the moment. Because it smatters of McCarthy, which is good, and then feels alot like Sandler, which is bad. There is a massive chance that this could be really offensive. That’s a shame because the tender moments with his father are the driving force here. Who knows? This could just be another nail in Sandler’s coffin.
