Anyway, set to be released around the festive period 2015, Peanuts is the weirdly animated film based on the much beloved comic strips and television cartoon. Revolving around that loveably black and white dog and his owner Charlie Brown, this tells two very different stories. Our furry friend Snoopy (doggy dog) is flying high on his own adventures across the skies and against his mortal enemy. All the while Charlie Brown is having his own fun with friends on the ground.
Though it would be fun and nostalgic to revisit our much beloved pals again, and it does seem to be trying to keep to some essence of the rambunctious spirit the original had, this is still an unnecessary film. In a line of unneeded and unwanted cinema tropes, Peanuts is just another family production that, whilst delighting its young audiences, will probably upset the elders. (NB: it is done by Blue Sky though)
Peanuts is due November 2015
