When a film like this releases a red band trailer, it truly gives you the best impression of how the film will turn out. There should be no holds barred in red bands and while this trailer doesn’t show everything violent and crude, it gives the audience enough to entice them with. There are explosions and blood and swear words to satisfy the audiences, but best of all it showcases the great humour in the film.
There’s a great range of acting talents in Kill Me Three Times, great Australian talent I might add, many of whom you will recognise like Teresa Palmer from Warm Bodies. But this trailer belongs to Simon Pegg, sporting a great moustache; Pegg shows off a dark side to him but still keeps that great comedic timing and expressions we love him for. Already released in Australia, Kill Me Three Times is heading to the US soon and hopefully the UK soon too. I’m completely on board with this film and it could become not only a cult hit, but also a surprised gem at the same time.
As whether or not Australia really is a “f**king lunatic asylum”, I know an Aussie who can answer that for me.
Kill Me Three Times is out later this year.
