The trailer focuses on a young girl, who has been left with two broken legs following an accident, and her impending romance with a neighbour. However, her life gets turned upside down when paranormal happenings begin in her apartment, and gifted psychic Elise Rainier, from the first two films, uses her ability to speak with the dead in order to help get rid of the supernatural entity that has targeted the young girl.
For all we know, this film could be a surprise. After all, Chapter 2 didn’t look much better than it’s piss poor predecessor but it delivered something pretty decent. The trailer is rather predictable, with every scare being obvious from miles off, and it doesn’t look particularly engaging as a horror film or a film in general. But who knows? It could be a decent watch, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Insidious: Chapter 3 is in cinemas May 29th 2015
