Who would have thought that the Fast & Furious series would have made it this far? Starting from what most people regarded as a fun, if largely innocuous movie about underground street-racing back in 2001, it went on to become a full-throated, turbo-charged franchise spanning over a decade and 6 blockbuster films. It really has been a hell of a road... and they're not finished yet.
Fast & Furious 7 has been a much anticipated movie, made even more so by the tragic death of one of its main stars, Paul Walker. The fate of the film was questioned, even written off by some, but they pulled themselves back and forged on with the seventh installment of the series. And not ones to simply burst forth from nowhere, the folks at Universal felt like building anticipation ahead of the new film. They wanna rev the engine a little, let it growl some before finally opening it all up and letting it roar to life.
Below is a video released ahead of the debut trailer for Fast & Furious 7, effectively a clip reel that gets you up to speed, but more importantly it's about setting the tone, letting you know how far they've come and just how hard they worked to get here. Cars and characters, ten second races to hundred million dollar heists, this video is the proof that this series can most certainly go the distance.
