There seems to be a resurgence in the sex film dramas in our industry at the moment. And no, not in the porn sense (because that’s what makes the world go round). I’m talking about exploring attraction, sexuality and fucking in dramatic and comedic ways. This week sees the release of two such films. Firstly, Keanu Reeves sees explores sexploitation with the thriller fuck piece Knock, Knock. Then a group of comedic actors swing many ways in the hilarious but excellent film The Overnight - which seems like the weirder yet better of the two, but will probably be seen less.
Now thanks to Metrodome, and to titillate your excitement further (or to coax it out of your shell, using every metaphor I can), here’s a look at the romping good time that is The Overnight. The film stars Adam Scott, Taylor Schilling, Jason Schwartzman and Judith Godreche and centres on a night to remember. As a new couple and their son move into a neighbourhood, they are invited to the residence of a cooler hipper family. When their kids go to bed, one suggests that the parents continue and the night opens up in a wild raucous way.
The Overnight has been acclaimed in USA and with the UK release today, it’ one that we are looking forward to. Why? Because sex and sexuality here is portrayed fluid. It’s seems less about judging and more about exploring one another. These new clips, including the first seven minutes, are definitely not suitable for work and pretty much set the tone of the continuous fucking theme that strings throughout.
