And still, between Hans Christian Anderson and the Grimm Brothers, they are nothing compared to Irish folklore. Which is why, instead of animation, The Hallow is a straight up horror movie.
The Hallow revolves around a family who have moved to a remote mill in Ireland with their little baby. Of course, from the moment they arrive, they become victim to a whole hoard of mythical creatures from fairies to baby stealers and have to do everything they can to survive.
Directed by Corin Hardy, who speaks about the films dedications to Ray Harryhausen, Dick Smith and Stan Wilson, this trailer doesn’t seem to be playing all its cards yet. Though this is a tense trailer, it really could go either direction. What do you think?
The Hallow is out November 15th
