Yes Arnie is back for another robotic thrill ride in the fifth edition of the Terminator franchise. The movie, which started with James Cameron’s semi-nude android on a murder mission for Sarah Connor, kicked off a new era for the series of films that heinously became more complex and complicated. The series sent us off to the future, bounded through time and space, and had some really incredible one-liner moments. Now the franchise is back with Terminator Genisys which has pretty much received a world-wide panning.
The movie revolves around Kyle Reese who is sent back in time to stop another robot from straight up murdering his lady love Sarah Connor. However, as he returns, he discovers that Sarah has been raised by the Arnie’s Terminator and that a robot version of her son is heading back to kill her! Yelp. Cue explosions and guns and cheesy Austrian accented one-liners.
So the critics haven’t been really kind to this film at a measly 23% rating on Rotten Tomatoes Despite all this, we can’t help but still be excited about the release of the film today. And to whet your appetite, here is a series of clips that should get you excited for the film!
