We all know who the late Steve Jobs was. We look up to him and what he achieved, and many of us would love to be him; have his intelligence, his drive and his passion. But how much do we really know? I dare you to watch this and not want to watch it. Steve Jobs is an enigma and now his life unfolds before us.
In October 2015, the biographical drama of Steve Jobs life is coming to the silver screen, starring Michael Fassbender as Jobs himself, along with Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels; directed by the brilliant Danny Boyle – what’s not to like?
The trailer is tense and not at all what I expected. Job’s life was darker than I ever imagined. You hear stories about the price of success, but now you get to witness how it happened to one of the most successful men. His legitimacy is questioned, his attitude is less than desirable as he adds the pressure on to the people surrounding him and his family falls apart: the cost of success.
Fassbender’s performance in the trailer alone is fantastic and I predict that he will win many awards over this role. The music gives the trailer life, tension and excitement with the trailer looking very similar to a thriller. The set is beautiful and the lighting is quite low; the whole ensemble is talented, but Fassbender is the one who really stands out. We will get to see what it’s like backstage as conferences are being set up and organised, before the magic happens and the latest technology is unveiled. But how much help did Job’s really have? Follow him on his journey as he becomes the man we know and share your thoughts on the trailer with us.
