The small bear, stowed away from his home in Peru, comes to London to find a home. Adopted by the Brown family, who take him into their home and hearts, his tale is adored by thousands the world over. Appearing in the fifties and written by Michael Bond, the film marks the first big screen adaptation for Paddington Bear. The film, instead of following one of Bonds stories, is inspired by his journey to London and adventures with the Brown family.
Starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Nicole Kidman. Ben Whishsaw provides the voice of a computer generated Paddington.
In the latest clip to be released from the film Paddington displays some unusual table manners while talking to Mr Brown. The patriarchal head of the Brown family is the most cynical with regards to taking in a stranger bear. It is, in fact, his wife and young son that insist on helping the bear which they also name in the clip.
The clip displays the heart and humour it looks to combine. With impresses effects and a brilliant cast this looks to be the family film for Christmas.
