Northbound Part II is the second feature released to promote brilliant Northstar. The film is currently in development from brothers Nathan and Seth Anderson and we're lucky to get a sneak peek from them. They've co-written their first feature film, with the help of Jason Hagen developing the story and it is all set to be released in 2015. Coming from two short films, (the intriguing The Merciful Death of Jonas Blake, and the remarkably morbid, Black,) the brothers are creating a post-apocalyptic world where a father is guarding his comatose daughter who is thought to be key to causing, or resolving said cataclysmic events.
The featured third character is, without a doubt, the desolate, icy, snow covered hills they try to survive. It is a demanding landscape, suited perhaps to its natural inhabitants, though it makes an unfamiliar viewer uneasy to think about surviving those Winters.
