Anyway, Kung Fu Panda follows the karate masters lead by the rotund Po in all his ass-kicking glory. One day he sees a bigger, older penguin in his town who, coincidentally has been looking for his long lost son. Shocking, Po says he’s been looking for his long lost father and the villagers are a little dismayed when the pair can’t put two and two together.
This looks like it is reaching out on a particular audience that enjoyed the copious “hilarities” of the first films. Sadly, that seems to be a miniscule group. This seems like really stiff and wooden humour. Sure, it sets a new town for the black and white lead and his goose father. But do we really care?
Kung Fu Panda is out next year.
