The second Avengers film is one of, if not the most anticipated film of 2015, and since Marvel released their next 9 movies and their release dates, all focus has been on Marvel and how amazing they are.
Now we have another exclusive look at Age of Ultron, so we can learn more of what to expect. We start off with some light comedy, the whole gang together, reunited again, chilling with a couple of beers, and Thor challenges all to try and pick up Mjölnir. It’s all fun and games (and Captain America even manages to make it budge) until Ultron decides to walk in and spoil the party. We see singular shots of many of the characters with chilling music in the background, we are introduced to two new characters, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and then all hell breaks loose. The world is invaded by thousands of robots, and the Avengers seemingly turn against each other.
The most frightening thing of all though, perhaps, is near the end we see Captain America’s shield in half. A shield, that is apparently meant to be indestructible, made of the strongest metal known to man (apart from... does Adamantium exist in this universe?), had been destroyed. That shows just how strong Ultron and his forces are.
I think we are all agreed that The Avengers: Age of Ultron is going to be a truly epic film. See it in UK cinemas 24th April 2015.
